At 9 years of age the life direction of James Anthony was first realised the night he heard the incredible sound of amazing angelic voices singing beautifully, accompanied by music that was both wonderful and meaningful. When young James realised that this awesome spiritual sound was coming from within him, it became his life long passion.

James cried uncontrollably that night, not knowing the importance that had been placed upon his life by the Almighty God.

In time James realised it was the Holy Spirit revealing his purpose and ministry.

This purpose has seen James travel many roads learning, being filled and prepared by the Lord to do the works set for him in advance.

Over the years James has worked with many of the music industry’s well known names in both the secular and gospel fields honing his God given gifts of singing, producing, writing, arranging, engineering, conducting, directing, teaching, mentoring, playing bass guitar, keyboards and impacting many lives along the way with his insight and blessings.

Proverbs 18:16 states, “A man’s gift makes room for him and brings him before great men.”

Whilst preparing for the release of his debut solo album titled ‘The Journey’ James is also currently directing the Melek Gospel Choir, producing the debut album of Tys Panayis (an incredibly talented singer from the Melek Gospel Choir) and doing vocal production on the upcoming album by award winning reggae vocalist Sandra Reid.

The past few years of James’s life have shown him God's goodness spiritually, enabling him to focus , and ‘The Journey, Vol 1’ is a testament of the commitment to live up to his God-given call to inspire others.

VISION STATEMENT

God has given us vision, a vision that sustains us as we press forward with confidence and assurance knowing that thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
I will be obedient to the Holy Spirit and maximize my talents and abilities in order to help raise the level of praise in Gods church, through the ministering of his word in anointed song that edifies the mind, body and soul of all Gods children.

He has put a new song in my mouth — Praise to our God; Many will see it and fear, And will trust in the LORD. Ps 40:3 NKJV

Then may we all be lifted up into the inner court as the gory of God fills the temple. In Jesus name, Amen!
